The 18th St. Lucia International Billfish Tournament was held on September 11th – 14th 2008 at the beautiful Marina at Marigot Bay.

Talk about good facilities! Anglers seemed quite happy with the services. 19 boats, 81 anglers including 5 female anlgers made use of the wonderful weather and mellow seas to have a fantastic tournament.

The entertainment was great and the fashion and lay day exceptional.

Hey, the fishing was good too! Max and his crew from Two Thou, Martinique finished in first place with 3 blue marlin released. Runners up were Blue Fever and Magic Lady from Trinidad.

The crew from Scotland on BraveHeart made their trip well worth it, landing the heaviest dolphin of the tournament at 41 and a half pounds and first timers from Jamaica on Hack Attack, reeled in a 25lb Wahoo by Ron DuQuesney.
